Saving State or Remembering Properties Between Levels

How to program RPG save memory between levels
In this short Swift/ Sprite Kit video tutorial, you will learn how to use the Standard Defaults to save state (basically remember property values) when going back and forth between levels (SKS files). For example, if our player has encountered an NPC previously, we can note that in the defaults. We’ll make further use of this later on, to optionally make Enemy classes stay deceased or treasure chest type objects reward only once.
