Using AWS DynamoDB with Swift 4

Part 3 - Adding a High Score Table

In this video tutorial, we will create our first DynamoDB table. It will be a simple one with just two attributes: userID and highScore. AWS automatically creates a class to access this database, so we will download the class file and add it to the project.

We will then update our Podfile and refresh our pod using Terminal. Once Xcode has the latest requirements for our project, we will then write the code to save the userID (specifically identifierForVendor ) to the database using a pseudo high score.

We’ll make a slight adjustment to the IAM role for the database as well.
