Watch a quick introduction to our new Blender in 3 Minutes series above. This course is primarily meant to supplement our SceneKit and ARKit video tutorials. Although Xcode has a 3D Scene editor, developers really can’t do much other than create basic primitive shapes. So we’ll be learning Blender a few minutes at a time, and eventually export out some .DAE (Collada) files, specifically to import into Xcode.
Even if you aren’t interested in doing augmented reality / 3D game development, you’ll find this course useful. We start from scratch with Blender and go from there!
