I figured it wouldn’t be as cut and dry as I would hope. Your explanation on the difficulty makes perfect sense.
Outside of kit integration, if I wanted to have labels on a page that had multiline functionality, where would I place the code with the .swift files.
I would like users to be able to input, change and save text over 12 different pages if possible. It would be worth it to me, to figure out going forward how to incorporate your explanation on a label by label basis if needed.
Hope that makes sense and thanks again!

Thank you for the reply!
Just to clarify, would the character element need to be touched? From my understanding, the tap controls work based on proximity to the character, so not need a direct touch to move.
Am I able to run a TouchEvent that activates the animation simply based on touch on the screen, or does there have to be direct contact with Character Element.
Apologies in advance if I am missing something simple here.

Thanks for the response. I totally understand what you mean. I forgot to follow up but the combination of adding in a delay, bigger sprites via the SizeUpBrush functionality you previously taught in the forum, and a few other small settings has it running much better for my project. I have all but gotten rid of the lag, and the Elements to colour have been modified to encourage quick visits to the coloring pages rather than trying to create polished pieces! Thanks again for the the help

Thank for the quick response! getting the date in initially would add to what I am working on for sure. I have some simple journal’s that I am incorporating and the date label would be perfect for when they are saved
an example of the date would be like : August 12th 2016
The other date stuff, like a calendar picker is to incorporate a day planner like functionality to my app and also take advantage of another feature I came across.
In your documentation, there was a feature that I thought was very interesting (can’t remember the exact location) but it was something to the effect of ShowOnDate. If I understand this correctly, I can show a link to a certain page on a date of my choosing. Very cool and had no idea it was in the kit!

Thanks as always for the insight. I think as usual I am overthink things and moving trying to do more than what is needed. When you say increase the size of the sprite, do you mean the using the transform handles to make the drawn item element bigger?
I think decreasing how often the sprite is added to the scene might be helpful, because the colouring comes in really fast and nice to begin with and then is slowing to a crawl. I rather everything be consistently slower so it doesn’t feel like the app is choking up.
Could you explain in a little more detail how to accomplish this, or is it just done the the Plist
Thanks for your help!

I was hoping I could pick your brain on the colouring page. I am finding that after colouring for a few minutes or less the page has a real problem outputting the DrawnItem. I am on an iPad Pro, so power isn’t the issue, but I was wondering if you have experienced anything like this and if so, how did you go about correcting the issue. Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide

Thanks for the follow up. following your lead I have also found this link. Would it be as simple as finding the corresponding codes for the lists provided here and placing them into the pList.

Sheesh! I was about to write another question asking for further explanation, and then I thought to myself. Just follow exactly what was explained and don’t over think about what “I” think should happen or makes sense to me.
You sir are a fantastic teacher! Worked to perfection. Went over it 7 times to understand, because in all honesty I was confused by explanation. But now it makes perfect sense. The way you explained forces me to learn and gives the answer as well. Awesome. Plus the forum is now a resource for when I ultimately forget how to do this down the road.

Thank you for explaining this to me. I think I was tripped up in my thinking by two things:
1) The in-app purchase aspect. I am actually not . I Just want currency to come from accomplishments, so I think it may be as simple as just awarding and subtracting points/coins as I see fit? Does that sound right?
2) I also think I am hoping to see an example of the inventory used on something. I see that in documentation you mentioned buying “Truck Oil” is there anywhere that I could see that in practice. So for example User has 300 coins and goes to a store in the app and can select a product, purchase said product and then it shows up elsewhere in the app.
I think separately I am grasping the concepts (I hope) but having problems tying it all together.
Definitely not your job to tie it all together for me, just hoping to see a cool example of this. I’ll keep playing around and post back with my progress in the meantime.
