I am using the Storyteller code and my iPad/iPhone will go into sleep mode if nothing is pressed after some time. Currently, the app will automatically go to the next page (unless the page turn arrow is pressed) after the words are displayed.
I don’t want to set it for the kid to have to press the “next” page button.
Is there a way to keep the iPad/iPhone from going into sleep mode?
The Auto Lock time is going to depend on the user’s settings. I don’t think individual apps can override that (nor should they really). But if this is a kid’s app, speaking from experience, its hard to get kids to NOT touch to their devices.
You could of course add a message to users that they might want to adjust the Auto Lock time if they’ll be letting the app sit and play for a while.
