Customizable Sequences in Game Art

    Is it possible to download sequence files (currently available only in PNG) in vector (AI) format of a character for further customization? Thanks!

    Yes and no. The sequences are usually exported from Spriter (sometime Adobe Animate). So the original art is created in vector, but animated separately. So yes, you can get Spriter (it’s free) open the .scml files, make changes and re-export. And there’s a tutorial on that here…

    Most game artists don’t animate in Adobe Illustrator, so its pretty unusual to find vector sequences.
