I initiate the background sound on my first page (not the cover) and want the sound to continuously play even when I go back to the first page. Right now, it restarts when I go back to the first page – the page where I initiated the sound.
I’m thinking I could setup an event listener to check if the condition is met, it won’t restart the background sound.
You could do that. Or just initiate the sound even earlier than the first page. Or even send the user back to a first page that looks like the first page but actually isn’t. You control the flow of the book, not the user, so you can really send them anywhere.
But yes, the event listener method is a good option too.
