    I would like to implement a simple play audio file on button press function within StoryKit, but with the standard-like controls found in most audio players. Specifically, “pause”, “go back to beginning”, and a “progress meter”. Is any subset of this possible with the kit? If not, how hard would it be to implement outside source code to allow these functions?

    Nah, that doesn’t exist currently. Well actually. Hmmm. You might be able to treat an audio file the same way you would a video file. Did you already try that?
