Is it possible to animate a measure chest when the player get near it and has the key?
Here is an example. The player gets through all the obstacles, and gets the key for a treasure chest. Then walks to the treasure chest, unlocks it, and gets the key to a portal or next level, or some valuable item to collect, etc.
Is this possible? If yes, how?, if not that would be a good addition to the kit.
Its possible. If you are making more of an RPG type game, you can set a property for Portals to advance to the next level with a certain score, the property is RequiresScoreOver. So you could make it so the key awards x amount of score and only after that’s achieved, the portal works. And that score might just be 1, it doesn’t have to be something like 10,000. So in your GUI, you could have a key icon, with an equal sign or something next to it, and it equals 0, until the player has gotten past all the obstacles, touched the key, and the key sets the score to 1, and wah-lah. The portal works.
